The Swamp Blues Band ventures into the Florida Everglades 

for forgotten stories and songs, myth and legend, as told by first hand accounts of the pioneer families who call it home.

We also celebrate, and support, every effort to protect and preserve the Florida Everglades 

and its magnificent wildlife habitat, forever.

Our original songs are written for hand made instruments like cigar box guitars, didley bows and harmonicas, bring the characters of the swamp back to life. 

From alligators and crocodiles, to mosquitoes 

and no see umms; from raccoons and opossums, to bears and hogs; from rattlesnakes and skunk apes, to every feather in the sky, every single muddy footprint has a story to tell.

The genre "Swamp Blues" can be found particularly in the South East US, but Florida has its distinctive signature. 

Strong percussive rhythms, legendary growling, soulful singing, and a no-frills swagger, everybody loves.

And of course, 

we also pay tribute to the blues' roots songbook.
